Face transplant...

I guess you have heard about America’s first full face transplant. Dallas Wiens received this transplant and before that he was almost faceless without lips, nose even his eyes where the eye sockets were covered with skin. I was amazed by how he looked before the transplant. I have never given much thought about people who have problems like these. Mostly people talk about poverty and hunger but there are things like these too. I checked out some other face transplants happened past years and thought to share with you all..

Connie Culp

Connie was the first recipient of the full face transplant in USA. Her husband blasted Connie in the face with a shot gun in 2004. She received her face transplant in 2008.

Sandeep Kaur

When Sandeep was a nine year old girl a grass cutting machine completely amputated her face and scalp. Her hair was caught in the thresher which caused to rip off her face into two pieces. It was back in 1994 when the transplant was done. This is considered as the the world’s first face transplant.
